Eagles Cricket Club's family party: a day of fun and bonding
Eagles Cricket Club recently held its eagerly awaited Family Festival, a day of socialising, laughter and sport beyond the cricket pitch. Instead of the usual cricket training session, we decided to change things up and called it the ECC Family Day. We invited all members to bring their siblings, partners, friends and families along for an evening of wholesome entertainment.
The event was held at Baden Meierhof Hall and it was a huge success. From 7.20pm, we gathered for a range of activities that catered for a wide variety of interests. Volleyball, badminton, basketball and even a friendly game of cricket with just one bounce filled the evening with excitement. However, it wasn't just about sport, it was also about socialising, having warm conversations and strengthening the relationships that bind our club together like a family.
We invited the players, their families, including siblings and parents, as well as friends. We organised delicious food and refreshing drinks to keep us going during all the games and conversations. The ECC Family Day was more than an event; it was a tradition that reminded us that our club is not just about cricket, but also about the relationships that have grown stronger over time. We will cherish the memories of this special day and look forward to more such events in the future.
