

The story of how the Eagles Cricket Club came to be can be told like an exciting adventure that took place in Steinen on 23 January 2022 at 2:00 pm.
1. the starting signal: It all began when all the members came together with enthusiasm for the cricket club. They included Sarujan Kumarakulasingam, Kavitharan Muhunthan, Krishnakanth Stalin, Kanagan Vincent Robert, Gushalavan Santhirasekaram, Banujan Kumarakulasingam and Elankeeran Raveendran. They were about to embark on a remarkable journey.
2. Official kick-off: Everyone discussed and planned together and declared them as the founding members of Eagles Cricket Club. This was the first step in creating something special.
3. agreeing on a plan: They needed a plan. Their goal? To make cricket accessible to people of all backgrounds, regardless of language, culture, religion or nationality. They wanted to create a fair and quality sporting environment. To achieve this, they were willing to work with organisations in Switzerland and around the world.
4. the rules are set: Mr Raveendran presented the rules of the association, known as the "statutes", which he had carefully drafted in advance. All present reviewed the rules thoroughly and all agreed that no changes were necessary. The "Statutes" were officially adopted and the Eagles Cricket Club was born.
5. The selection of executives: Next, leaders were elected. Elankeeran Raveendran was elected as President, Sarujan Kumarakulasingam as Secretary, Kavitharan Muhunthan as Treasurer, Krishnakanth Stalin as Deputy Treasurer, Kanagan Vincent Robert as Executive Director and Gushalavan Santhirasekaram as Deputy Executive Director.They all accepted their duties with pride.
6. keeping an eye on the finances: To ensure financial transparency, they elected Yalini Raveendran as the auditor. She agreed to take on this important task.
7. membership: It was decided that each member would pay a monthly contribution of CHF 15 until the next General Assembly. All those present nodded in agreement.
And so the Eagles Cricket Club was officially founded that day in Steinen SZ. With their shared love of cricket and their commitment to making the sport accessible to all, the founders embarked on a new and exciting journey together.
